Richard De Moliner was born in Schwyz, Switzerland, on February
5, 1962. He received in 1985 his Bachelor of Science degree in
Electrical Engineering (Dipl. El.-Ing. FH) from
the College of Engineering at
Buchs, St. Gallen, Switzerland. He then received in 1989 his
Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.
El.-Ing. ETH), in 1990 his Master of Science degree in
Computer Science (Dipl. Informatik-Ing. ETH) and
in 1999 his Doctor of Philosophy degree (Dr. sc.
techn.), all from the Swiss
Federal Institute of Technology at Zurich. He worked from 1990
to 1999 as a teaching assistant and as a researcher with Professor
James L. Massey at the Signal and Information Processing Laboratory
of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology at Zurich. From 1999
to 2001 he worked for the company Digital Copyright Technologies AG
in Zurich. In 2002 he founded the company CryptographicWorks AG in
Küsnacht for which he is working ever since. The research
interests of Richard De Moliner include all aspects of
cryptology.
