Richard De Moliner was born in Switzerland in 1962. In 1985, he
earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
(Dipl. El.-Ing. FH) from the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied
Sciences, Buchs campus. He went on to receive his Master of
Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl. El.-Ing.
ETH) in 1989, his Master of Science degree in Computer
Science (Dipl. Informatik-Ing. ETH) in 1990, and
his Doctor of Philosophy degree (Dr. sc. techn.)
in 1999, all from ETH Zurich. From
1990 to 1999, he worked as a teaching assistant and researcher with
Professor James L. Massey at the Signal and Information Processing
Laboratory at ETH Zurich. From 1999
to 2001, he worked at Digital Copyright Technologies AG in Zurich.
In 2002, he founded CryptographicWorks AG,
where he has worked ever since. Richard De Moliner’s
research interests include all aspects of cryptology.
